| We do not audition applicants. Instead, we’ll invite you to join us for a few rehearsals, to give us a chance to hear you play in a rehearsal setting, and to give you a chance to see if you enjoy playing in our group. |
| If all works well, we’ll invite you to become a regular member of The Pacific Brass Band. As an amateur band, we play for the enjoyment and satisfaction we receive from participation. Our philosophy is that the greatest enjoyment and satisfaction comes from a serious approach to playing, working hard in rehearsals, and giving the best performances of which we are capable. |
| Band membership carries with it a commitment to perform at all of our concerts. Members also commit to attending all rehearsals unless prevented by illness, work requirements, or other unavoidable commitments. |

The Jazz Bash By the Bay Monterey takes place in the renovated Conference Center and Portola Hotel & Spa with 8 venues and 7 dance floors. Enjoy the colorful forms of American Classic Jazz including Traditional, Ragtime, Swing, Gypsy, Zydeco and Blues. World-class musicians will make Monterey their home once again in March.
